Well, more like about me! Hello! I’m Caroline, founder and owner of Moody Wood Furniture. I’m originally from Atlanta, Georgia in the States, but have made Scotland my home now. I live in Fife with my two adorable kiddos and my wonderfully supportive husband. My passion for refinishing furniture ignited after I attended a week long furniture upcycling class with my (as I mentioned ) supportive husband. From there, I just wanted to keep going.

Not only do I find the process enjoyable, but knowing that I’m helping save unwanted furniture from the landfill and reducing the demand for “fast furniture” (just like fast fashion) is an amazing feeling that I just can’t get enough of. I put my heart and soul into every project I work on, whether it’s giving an outdated piece a beautiful painted makeover or restoring a vintage piece to its former glory. I work on furniture that I source as well as custom work for anyone that has a piece they’d love to see updated, repaired, or totally transformed.
